Fluency is a conference concept designed for the American Translators Association. Created as a bold response to the typically outdated, corporate identity of industry events, Fluency reimagines the translator's space with a sense of fun, inclusivity, and visual energy. The goal was to build an experience that feels current, vibrant, and genuinely exciting to be part of.
The identity is expressive, playful, and multicultural—blending modern typography with colorful geometric shapes that echo both linguistic structure and human connection. Every element—from the merch to the schedule layout—was designed to speak fluently across languages and disciplines.
